Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in an actuarial role.
• 6 Exam Components required; 10+ components preferred.
• Office-based; travel 0% - 25%.

Responsibilities

• Define & diagnose a problem. Outline data requirements for a study or analysis and devise potential solutions.
• Create studies, analyses, and presentation materials for decision makers and cross-team stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide decision support to team members.
• Apply actuarial techniques across pricing, reserving, profitability analysis, and other studies.
• Ensure results are reasonable and align with experience and industry knowledge.
• Communicate technical work effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
