Arbital Health, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Actuary & Data Science Engineer to bridge actuarial science with production software. You will design and deploy scalable models (IBNR, forecasting, risk adjustment, pricing) and integrate them into our AI architecture, embedding actuarial professionalism into automated tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Delivery, and Engineering to apply modern tech—AI, PySpark, and cloud data infra—to healthcare risk problems at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with data (eligibility and claims).
• ASA required; FSA preferred.
• Strong coding in Python, R, SQL with clean, reproducible code.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.

Responsibilities

• Production Model Engineering: design, build, and deploy scalable actuarial models.
• AI Context & Efficacy: inform domain context for Arbital AI suite and refine evaluation frameworks.
• Actuarial Governance & Standards: embed best practices into models and data pipelines.
• Domain-Driven Prototyping: lead rapid POC builds to test actuarial logic.
• Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: translate healthcare data problems into scalable software solutions.
