Milliman seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Actuary to build the Milliman AI Solutions practice, bridging actuarial expertise with AI-driven transformation. You will engage clients, shape opportunities, and translate workflows into practical AI-enabled roadmaps, collaborating with AI engineers, domain experts, and product teams.

The role requires actuarial or technical degrees and 6-8 years of relevant experience, with a focus on delivering measurable business value through enterprise AI

Qualifications

• Insurance workflows mapping and optimization across actuarial, underwriting, claims, reporting, compliance, and related domains.
• Delivery collaboration with domain experts, AI engineers and technology teams on requirements and prototype framing.
• Enterprise AI tool ecosystem and how business users apply tools across chat, agents, and workflow environments.
• Generative AI concepts, prompt design, agentic workflows, evaluation methods, and responsible AI considerations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to bridge senior leaders, SMEs, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Internal & Client AI business engagement: shape opportunities, conduct workshops, and draft use-case roadmaps.
• Workflow mapping & redesign: map current-state processes and design AI-enabled target workflows.
• AI solution co-design & tool enablement: partner with engineers and product owners to prototype, MVP, and scale.
