Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking an Actuary Expert for a fully remote, independent contractor engagement. You will evaluate AI-generated actuarial analysis for technical accuracy, review pricing, reserving, valuation and risk modeling outputs, and create demonstrations based on professional workflows.

Qualifications

• SOA or CAS credential (ASA, FSA, ACAS, FCAS) or 3+ actuarial exams completed.
• At least 2 years of professional actuarial experience.
• Experience in pricing, reserving, valuation, actuarial modeling, or risk analysis.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain complex actuarial concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated actuarial analysis for technical accuracy.
• Review pricing, reserving, valuation, and risk modeling outputs.
• Create expert demonstrations based on actuarial workflows and problems from your professional practice.
• Develop realistic examples reflecting how actuarial analysis is performed in professional settings.
• Rank and label AI-generated responses against relevant actuarial standards and expectations.
• Identify technical errors, unsupported assumptions, calculation issues, and weaknesses in actuarial reasoning.
