For our client, we are seeking a Senior Actuary - Actuarial Enterprise Risk Management - REMOTE to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on enterprise risk management within the actuarial function, with an emphasis on capital reporting, forecasting, and supporting strategic risk initiatives. The position partners closely with actuarial, finance, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen modeling consistency, improve process efficiency, and support enterprise priorities. The selected individual will also translate complex technical results into clear recommendations for senior leadership while helping develop team capability.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $149,000 – $262,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly statutory capital reporting and forecasting.
• Support strategic initiatives such as reserving methodology changes and captive reinsurance structures.
• Partner with actuarial teams to align modeling approaches and assumptions.
• Identify and implement process improvements for capital reporting.Present technical findings to senior leaders with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support enterprise priorities.
• Provide guidance to a rotation student and help enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with actuarial models; AXIS or MG-ALFA preferred.
• Deep product knowledge in a single product line or breadth across multiple insurance products.
• Effective communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• FSA designation preferred.
