Job summary

Alan is seeking an Insurance Expert to design and price health insurance offers, monitor business risks and help the team understand healthcare and regulatory subtleties. You will join a global team delivering patient-centric prevention and care, with a focus on Belgium and Europe.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required; French is a plus. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in insurance, a scientific background and strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable outputs.

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance sector with health insurance exposure.

The Insurance Expert role in Belgium

The role of an Insurance Expert at Alan is to:

• Design and price insurance offers,

Is it you we're looking for?

You may be a great fit for the role if:

• You have 5+ years of experience in the insurance sector, with meaningful exposure to health insurance products (hospitalisation, group insurance, disability or dental)

• You are fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus)

• You combine a scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with practical experience in insurance (product, pricing, regulatory or analytics)

• You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data, business and legal questions into actionable outputs

• You have a builder mindset: you continuously identify opportunities to improve and scale processes and systems

• You are willing to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry and challenge the status quo

• You communicate in a clear, structured and to-the-point way (written and spoken)

For this role, we are looking to hire within the C1-E level range.
