Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant to join the pricing team to develop and recommend actuarial pricing and rating plans of a complex nature for commercial auto and general liability. You will collaborate with business partners and actuarial leaders, provide analyses, and influence pricing decisions.

The role offers a hybrid schedule from actuarial hub locations including Chicago, Radnor, Warren, New York City or Walnut Creek, with opportunities for education support and exam

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience.
ACAS designation and working towards FCAS.

Responsibilities

Establishes relationships with business partners and SMEs; provides actuarial guidance as needed.
Influences pricing strategy and develops pricing tools and analytics.
Monitors profitability, reserving, and claims trends with actionable recommendations.
Guides less experienced team members and manages projects.
Produces technical actuarial analyses and communicates findings to stakeholders.
Stays current on actuarial standards and industry trends; drives process improvements.
