Allianz Partners seeks a Sr. Actuarial Pricing Analyst to analyze risk, price new products, and forecast liabilities for a $2.5B travel insurance portfolio.

You’ll influence pricing strategy, engage with senior leadership, and contribute to product innovation in a hybrid Richmond, VA setting. You will leverage AI, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics while collaborating across a five-person actuarial team to deliver insightful, actionable pricing solutions and regulatory-compliant rate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Five (5+) years of related pricing actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in actuarial techniques, R or Python coding and predictive modeling.
• Associate, Casualty Actuarial Society designation preferred.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to lead project initiatives.
• Cross functional collaboration skills with strong business acumen.

Responsabilités

• Apply actuarial concepts, practices, and procedures in line with Actuarial Standards of Practice.
• Collect, analyze and interpret historical data.
• Evaluate impact of benefit plan data using detailed knowledge of benefits and adjudication.
• Deliver internal and external reports and guide others on deliverables; manage projects to completion.
• Plan and implement innovative insurance, management and client solutions.
• Design rate filings to support benefit and product needs in regulatory compliance.
• Respond to regulatory requests related to rate filings and market conduct examinations.
• Develop customized pricing models as needed.
• Enhance tools and models to support changes in the business.
• Work with AI, ML, data analytics, and cloud-based tools with governance and ethics in mind.
