Securian Financial is seeking an Actuarial Sr Con to lead modeling efforts across Bermuda reinsurance and IUL needs within the Model Development Team of Enterprise Actuarial Services. You will leverage asset‑liability modeling and actuarial expertise to translate complex topics into business insights for stakeholders.

The role requires deep technical skills in Prophet and FactSet, collaboration across teams, and governance of modeling standards.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial modeling expertise, especially asset–liability modeling.
• Experience with Bermuda reinsurance valuation concepts.
• Design, develop and review modeling functionality in Prophet and FactSet.
• Excellent communication to explain modeling concepts, impact and tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Understand partner products, structures, reporting requirements and objectives.
• Lead design, development, and governance of Bermuda reinsurance modeling for near‑term and future needs.
• Apply asset‑liability modeling and Bermuda valuation to research and solve complex issues.
• Design modeling functionality in Prophet and FactSet to support evolving structures and initiatives.
• Serve as SME and liaise with Securian Re, Reinsurance COE, ERM, SAM and solutions groups.
• Evaluate model changes, communicate impacts and tradeoffs to users and stakeholders.
• Lead testing, validation, documentation and governance per Modeling Principles and SOPs.
