Securian Financial Group is seeking a senior actuarial professional to lead the development of advanced modeling capabilities for Bermuda reinsurance and IUL-related needs. You will apply asset-liability modeling expertise and Bermuda valuation concepts to design, implement, and improve modeling tools and processes.

In this role you will partner with Securian Re, Reinsurance COE, ERM, SAM, and solutions teams to convert complex topics into actionable insights, while guiding governance, testing,

Qualifications

• Deep actuarial modeling expertise, asset-liability modeling, and Bermuda-focused valuation concepts.
• Ability to design, implement, and review complex modeling functionality in Prophet and FactSet.
• Strong communication and documentation to explain complex modeling concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of modeling capabilities for Bermuda reinsurance transactions.
• Research and solve complex modeling issues in asset-liability modeling and Bermuda valuation.
• Provide governance, testing, validation, and documentation following Modeling Principles and actuarial standards.
• Translate technical conclusions into business insights for stakeholders and model users.
