CNA is seeking an Actuarial Senior Consultant to develop and recommend complex actuarial reserve strategies for CNA's Financial Lines business unit, supporting senior management in decision-making and strategy formulation.
This role oversees reserving techniques for the Financial Lines product suite (D&O, Cyber, E&O, and EPL), monitors external trends, and collaborates with business partners and Actuarial leaders. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing actuarial analyses and insights to influence reserving decisions and strategies.
Candidates preparing for exams can participate in our Actuarial Education Program, which offers study support and exam raises as you develop your skills.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, typically with 1 day per week at one of our CNA actuarial hub locations: Chicago, IL; Radnor, PA; Warren, NJ; New York City, NY; or Walnut Creek, CA.
Depending on experience and qualifications, candidates may be hired as either an Actuarial Consultant or Senior Actuarial Consultant. The role generally requires 4-10+ years of related experience.

Base salary in Illinois, New York, California ranges from $97,000 to $185,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. In some jurisdictions, the range is $72,000 to $141,000 annually. CNA offers a comprehensive benefits package. For details, visit cnabenefits.com.
