Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an Actuarial Senior Consultant to join the Actuarial Analytics team at our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The role offers flexibility to work in the office and remotely.

You will develop predictive models, AI tools, and analytics to support actuarial reserving and loss forecasts, partnering with stakeholders and data visualization teams to tell the story behind the results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years in Actuarial with FCAS or equivalent OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associates Degree OR
• 10+ years in Actuarial with ACAS or equivalent OR
• 5+ years in Actuarial with Bachelors and knowledge of insurance products

Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques to analyze claims data and loss development.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and monitor advanced predictive models.
• Deliver insights, produce diagnostics, and create tools to aid reserving analyses.
• Collaborate with the reserving transformation team to create AI tools and agents.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate actuarial questions into actionable analyses.
