Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an Actuarial Senior Consultant for our Actuarial Analytics team at the North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The role blends risk-focused analytics with AI tool development to enhance reserving and loss forecasting.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years actuarial experience or 10+ years with ACAS/FCAS, contingent on track
• > Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and experience (qualification track)
• > Knowledge of insurance products and operations
• > Experience applying quantitative concepts
• > Experience communicating analysis results

Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques to analyze claims data and loss development
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and monitor advanced predictive models
• Deliver insights, produce diagnostics, and create tools for reserving analyses
• Drive efficiency by creating AI tools and agents in collaboration with the reserving transformation team
• Collaborate with Data Visualization to communicate model results to stakeholders
• Translate actuarial and business questions into actionable analyses
