Job summary

Kemper has an immediate need for a skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to perform complex pricing analyses and support actuarial filings. This role collaborates with Actuarial leadership, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to craft pricing strategies that align with organizational goals.

Work hours align with Eastern or Central Time zones. Responsibilities include preparing ratemaking analyses, supporting filing processes, and driving process improvements through automation and mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field.
• 4+ years as actuarial or quantitative pricing analyst; P&C experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel/VBA, SAS, Python or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Produce rate level indications with actuarial ratemaking knowledge.
• Support state filings with memorandums and regulator communications.
• Quantify and validate proposed rates; query ratemaking data.
• Perform trend analyses and improve processes through automation.
• Assist with junior staff development and cross-functional collaboration.
