Job summary

Openly is seeking anActuarial Analyst to help with new product development and profitability review of current offerings. The role leverages modern technology to automate pricing management in a fast-paced environment.

A self-motivated, energetic candidate will fit well in our performance-driven culture. Based in the United States with remote-first work, you will collaborate with Senior Actuaries and cross-functional teams to build scalable analytical capabilities and deliver actionable insights

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in insurance pricing, preferably with personal lines pricing
• Progress toward ACAS/FCAS designations (3+ exams preferred)
• Strong technical and analytical skills with data manipulation
• Python familiarity
• Strong communication skills
• Homeowners/Auto insurance experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive state expansion by developing rating models and other customer-facing models
• Develop and expand product analytics capabilities to enrich understanding of product profitability
• Assist in producing actuarial deliverables (rate indications, rating plan amendments, reinsurance analysis, loss modeling)
• Design and enhance analytical frameworks with the Senior Research Actuary
• Develop processes to integrate analytical tools into day-to-day operations and outputs
• Continuously test and adopt new tools to improve scalability and rigor
