The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field and has 3-6 years of actuarial experience in healthcare settings. A strong understanding of Medicare Advantage and proficiency in Excel and SQL are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-6 years of relevant Actuarial experience within healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Occasional travel required, no more than 10%-15%.

Responsibilities

• Develop models to forecast risk-adjusted revenue across Medicare Advantage contracts.
• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends and cost drivers.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy.

Skills

Prior experience within Medicare Advantage

Understanding of CMS-HCC models

Proficiency in modeling and forecasting

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong understanding of SQL

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field

2+ Actuarial Exams, Pre-ASA or ASA level

MBA or advanced degree preferred
