Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC seeks an actuarial analyst to support Medicare Advantage financial forecasting and risk assessment. This fully remote role within the Continental U.S. focuses on developing quarterly forecasts, analyzing FFS costs, and contributing to savings initiatives.

The ideal candidate has actuarial experience, progress toward an actuarial credential, and strong Excel and data-analytics skills; basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with AI tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Rule of 5: 5+ years actuarial experience or exams combo.
• Strong Excel and data analytics required.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage forecasting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply math, probability, statistics to analyze Medicare FFS costs and risk.
• Develop and maintain quarterly forecasts for Medicare FFS costs and provider risk-sharing.
• Develop and run data reports to identify trends and gaps.
• Prepare financial exhibits and communicate findings to audiences.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support forecasting and reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
