Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Actuarial Analyst to join the Actuarial Rating Systems Support team focused on the ERNIE rating engine.

You will plan, document and drive system enhancements from design through testing, rollout and production, collaborating with business partners and ensuring accuracy. In addition to medical rating work, you will back up Dental Rating Systems, manage end-to-end ERNIE enhancements, perform data analysis with SQL and Excel, and prepare regulatory exhibits.

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed and ASA pursuit.
• 2+ years actuarial work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data and investigate root causes.

Responsibilities

• Define specifications and document rating changes.
• Test and sign-off ERNIE enhancements.
• Create exhibits for regulatory/underwriting inquiries.
• Investigate historical pricing practices.
• Assess claim impact of benefit changes.
