Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Senior Actuarial Analyst to manage ERNIE-based rating changes for large group commercial business. You will coordinate specs, drive testing, document methodologies, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to rollout enhancements.

The role involves support for dental rating systems and ongoing process improvements using SQL, Excel/VBA and AI tools. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of actuarial work experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 actuarial exams passed and pursuing ASA designation.
• 2+ years actuarial work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with complex data and technical systems.
• Ability to analyze data, investigate issues, and determine root causes in a business or systems environment.

Responsibilities

• Define specifications and documentation for rating methodology changes.
• Testing and sign-off for ERNIE system enhancements.
• Creating exhibits to demonstrate rating method results for regulatory/underwriting inquiries.
• Investigating historical pricing practices across national commercial large group business.
• Implement ERNIE commercial actuarial rate reviews; provide Tier 2 technical support.
• Improve processes via SQL, Excel/VBA and AI tools.
