Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is seeking an Activity Therapy Supervisor for Central State Hospital in Milledgeville. The role leads staff, coordinates recreational activities, and ensures safe, therapeutic program delivery.

Responsibilities include supervision, program planning, and assessing client needs to tailor activities such as sports, arts, music, and social events.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a therapeutic recreation or related therapeutic discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of job-related experience, including one year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and guide subordinate staff.
• Plan, direct or coordinate therapeutic recreation programs.
• Assess a client’s condition and recommend appropriate recreational activity.
