Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum of one year in a nursing facility, long-term care setting, or recreational arts/crafts program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly events to foster socialization and relaxation.
• Create activities accommodating individuals with special needs.
• Handle event planning logistics, including communication, advertising, budget management, volunteer coordination, and transportation.
• Evaluate participant engagement and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain records related to event planning resources, participant interests, and incidents.
• Report medical concerns promptly.
• Ensure well-prepared events with trained staff, timely execution, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide participants with event instructions.
• Uphold safety procedures consistently.
