Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Morgantown is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our Activities Department and help enhance residents' quality of life.

No prior experience required; experience in activities or healthcare is a plus. You will plan in-room and group activities, coordinate events, and support cognitive and physical well-being for residents, while maintaining calendar schedules and state documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• CNA is preferred but not required.
• Able to work with residents with cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs of residents.
• Assist in initiating and promoting activities inside and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Help create an ongoing activities calendar and ensure scheduling with state standards.
