Hillcrest Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to engage residents in meaningful activities and social events. This full-time role is based at Hillcrest in Danville, WV and emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care.

The position requires planning and execution of activities, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work with confused residents. Daily pay is available as a bonus option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with software applications preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct activities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Active state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct a variety of activities for residents.
• Engage residents to promote socialization and community involvement.
• Collaborate with the activities department and interdisciplinary team.
