Job summary

Symphony Care Network is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to engage with residents and support social and recreational activities that improve quality of life. This full-time role involves assisting with daily activities, leading group and individual sessions, and ensuring proper documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Ideal candidates will enjoy working with seniors, bring energy and compassion, and be available to work every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities as an Activity Assistant
• Ability to work every other weekend as well as some holidays
• 1 + years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Activity Assist our residents with activities to provide social communication, entertainment, exercise and relaxation for our residents.
• Lead group and individual resident activities
• Complete required record keeping per facility policy
