Job summary

LCB Senior Living at Fieldstone in Chester Springs, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant on a part-time basis. The role focuses on planning and implementing engaging activities for residents, promoting participation, and maintaining a warm, supportive relationship with residents and families.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, arranging transportation, supporting volunteer programs, and contributing to newsletters or calendars.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous experience in recreational therapy or related field preferred.
• A valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in 3 years.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing residence activities.
• Develop ideas to improve and expand the Activities Program.
• Maintain a professional, warm and caring relationship with residents and families.
• Assist in arranging transportation for residents to activities.
• Assist with maintaining Volunteer Programs and the residence store.
• Assist with monthly newsletter and/or weekly calendar.
• Drive residents in the van as needed.
