Job summary

Burn Boot Camp in Cornelius, NC seeks an Activewear Merchandising Manager to own the full product lifecycle for the activewear line, including trend research, assortment planning, production, inventory, and sell-through in both franchise and e-commerce channels.

You'll partner with the Director of Retail and franchise partners, lead design direction, manage vendors, and drive improvements in customs, inventory, and partnerships like Fabletics. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in activewear, fashion buying, merchandising, or product development.
• Strong creative eye with trend-informed and commercially grounded decisions.
• Direct vendor management experience with production timelines and quality standards.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product data management.
• Knowledge of garment costing, pricing strategy, and sourcing.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Ability to travel for vendor meetings, fittings, and events.

Responsibilities

• Own seasonal and rolling assortment planning across activewear categories for franchise partners and e-commerce.
• Lead design decisions — colorways, fabrication, silhouette, and brand alignment.
• Manage activewear vendor relationships — timelines, quality control, delivery, and brand compliance.
• Coordinate fittings and sample development with minimal escalation.
• Oversee customs program end-to-end and partnerships like Fabletics.
• Analyze sales trends and inventory data to inform buy and replenish decisions.
