YMCA in Madison, NJ is seeking a part-time Group Fitness Instructor to lead a dynamic class for active adults. You'll design sessions that blend cardio, strength, balance and flexibility, using clear instructions and motivating music to help participants reach their wellness goals.

Qualified candidates hold a current group fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization. You should have at least one year of teaching experience, and be able to teach Mondays and Thursdays in the

Must be able to teach Monday & Thursday mornings, preferably at 10a.
Current Group Fitness Certification from a nationally recognized organization.
Certifications subject to annual audit
Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred

Responsabilidades

Teach an active adults class combining aspects of strength, conditioning, balance and flexibility.
Lead energizing, fun and safe class
Builds effective, authentic relationships with members; helps members and program participants connect with each other and the YMCA.
Observes and adjusts approach to support all participants’ capabilities, health, and culture.
Ensure the proper equipment is available.
Record accurate class attendance.
