Westfield Area YMCA is seeking an experienced Group Fitness Instructor to lead Lite Cardio/Senior classes and TRX Strength sessions. You will ensure a fun, safe environment, serve as a fitness resource for participants, and work to promote membership and YMCA programs. Part-time positions available for days, afternoons, and evenings.

Must hold current nationally recognized certifications and CPR/First Aid. Prior group fitness teaching experience is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18

• Nationally recognized certifications in group fitness.
• Previous group fitness instructor experience preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Join our fun, enthusiastic Group Exercise team at the Westfield Area YMCA!

We are looking for experienced, energetic certified Group Exercise Instructors for our Lite Cardio/Senior classes and TRX Strength classes. Multiple certifications are a plus! You will be responsible for teaching Group Exercise classes in a fun and safe environment. The Group Fitness Instructor acts as a fitness resource for class participants, maintains positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance, and promotes membership retention and YMCA programs. Pay Range

$25.00-$28.00 per hour, based on years of related experience

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must have current certifications from a nationally recognized institution.
• Previous experience as a group fitness instructor preferred
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications prior to working - we offer trainings on site.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
