Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an experienced Action Officer to support a Department of State public diplomacy office in Washington, DC. You will coordinate across bureaus and the intelligence community, provide analysis and briefing support, and help implement policies countering foreign malign influence.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree, and 6+ years of experience with 5+ years at State, plus strong interagency collaboration and client‑facing engagement.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Six (6) years of professional experience, including five (5) years in the Department of State.
• Experience with interagency processes and collaboration.
• Subject matter expertise related to countering foreign malign influence.
• Ability to work on client site in Washington, DC 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between State Department bureaus, interagency partners, and the intelligence community.
• Facilitate information exchange, synchronize operational activities, and ensure alignment on priority national security objectives.
• Provide high‑quality analytical and operational support to leadership, including briefings, talking points, readouts, and issue papers.
• Coordinate internal workflows, taskings, and clearance processes for timely Department products.
• Build and maintain partnerships with relevant bureaus, offices, and external agencies.
