Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Action Officer to support a public diplomacy office at the Department of State, coordinating cross‑bureau efforts and interagency engagement to advance national security priorities. The role requires SME on countering foreign malign influence and strong ability to deliver timely, accurate policy tasks.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET clearance required
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years DoS experience
• Experience with interagency processes and collaboration
• Subject matter expertise countering foreign malign influence
• Ability to work on client site in Washington, DC 4-5 days/week

Responsibilities

• Interagency coordination between State Department bureaus, interagency partners, and intelligence community.
• Provide analytical and operational support including briefings, talking points, readouts, and issue papers.
• Apply SME to counter foreign malign influence to inform decision-making and strategy development.
• Engage stakeholders across bureaus and external agencies; represent the Department in working groups.
• Manage meetings, deliverables, and project tasks; ensure documentation and knowledge management.
