Job summary

DCS Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Acquisition Program Systems Engineer to lead full lifecycle support for air armament and conventional munitions programs, including missiles and seekers.

You will work across requirements, design, verification, and sustainment with emphasis on risk, cost, and performance trade studies. The role requires top‑secret clearance, an ABET‑accredited engineering degree, and 15+ years of relevant DoD experience or equivalent advanced degrees with less time.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program with extensive relevant experience (or higher degree with fewer years) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical expertise across all acquisition phases: requirements definition, design, integration, verification/validation, deployment, and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as Systems Engineering Plans, technical reviews, audits, and interchange meeting materials (e.g., CDR, TIMs).
• Conduct trade studies on performance, cost, producibility, maintainability, and risk; support simulation studies and system effectiveness modeling.
• Perform proposal and modification evaluations for technical feasibility and cost effectiveness.
• Support developmental planning, AoAs, mission needs analysis, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, and system comparison studies per DoD 5000-series guidance.
• Provide engineering assessments for training systems, simulators, integration requirements, and system readiness reviews.
• Support source selection activities in a non‑decision‑making advisory role, including documentation development and proposal reviews.
• Produce technical trade studies, integration documentation, and munitions‑related engineering products; support risk management and milestone review preparation.
• Deliver systems engineering support for program oversight, configuration management, requirements management, and interface management; utilize tools such as DOORS.
• Provide program engineering support for evaluations, testing, portfolio reviews, and recommendations to improve system performance and compliance with specifications.
