Position Details

Location: Fort Washington, MD (Onsite)

Clearance: TS/SCI

Education: MS/MA or BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience

Expected Outcomes

• Track all tasks, including assignments, suspense, status, and comments, and be prepared to brief upon request.
• Develop digital folders with SOPs, workflows, and POC lists.
• Create 2-3 products beyond client requirements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
• Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

The Senior Acquisition Specialist supports CCSO's Cyber Capabilities Portfolio with project management tasks, including procurement, financial management, systems engineering, security, contracting, and logistics. Responsibilities include:

• Developing or providing inputs to key contracting documents.
• Addressing technical issues related to cyber capabilities.
• Supporting cost estimates, technology evaluations, and market research.
• Overseeing project execution, including schedule, technical development, risk mitigation, and financial monitoring.
• Coordinating and executing Sprint and Project Reviews.
• Documenting meetings and action items.
• Supporting capability roadmap development and transition efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 6 years in DoD acquisition program management.
• Expertise in analyzing and developing DoD systems and acquisition strategies.
• Ability to work independently on high-visibility tasks.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

• PMP or DAWIA certification.
• Contracting Officer Representative (COR) experience.
