Job summary

Air Force Materiel Command seeks a Legal adviser to provide legal advice and support to Commanders and staff at AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, and other AFMC organizations on acquisition law matters. The role emphasizes complex regulatory analysis, formal opinions, and negotiation to protect the Government's position.

The ideal candidate will hold an ABA-accredited JD or LLB, maintain active bar status, and bring experience in government contracting, research, and clear written communication to support

Qualifications

• Must have ABA-accredited law degree (JD or LLB).
• Active bar status in a U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or territory, within 4 months of application.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on acquisition law matters to Commanders and staff.
• Develop and review formal opinions on complex regulatory issues.
• Assist in negotiations to protect the Government's position in major acquisition actions.
