Air Force Civilian Service seeks a full-time Acquisition Attorney (NH-0905-03/04) to join the Hanscom AFB Legal Office in Massachusetts. This role provides legal advice on acquisition law matters to Commanders and staff, reviews contracts for compliance, and supports program managers and contracting officers.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, law degree, active bar license, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Salary ranges from $101,375 to $197,200 with possible incentives.

Qualifications

  • As a candidate you must have graduated from an accredited law school and maintain a current license as an attorney.
  • You will provide advice to senior leadership and contract teams on complex acquisition issues.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including SCI access if required.
  • You may be designated as a senior or developmental attorney depending on the vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as legal adviser to Commanders and staff on acquisition law matters.
  • Provide a single point of contact for questions arising from designated programs.
  • Review complex contractual documents for compliance with laws, regulations, and policy.
  • Offer oral advice to Contracting Officers and program management personnel at various levels.
  • In NH-04, supervise other attorneys and instruct acquisition law classes.
