Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Acquisition Information Protection Manager (Journeyman) at Eglin AFB, FL to support all security aspects of the program lifecycle. You will ensure compliance with SAP/SCI and collateral requirements and develop secure operating environments for government and contractor personnel.

The ideal candidate has experience implementing policies derived from EO and DoD directives, with responsibilities spanning security documentation, audits, and personnel security training.

Qualifications

• Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate degree with substantial relevant security experience.
• Must have or obtain SFPC; familiar with DoD security directives.
• Experience across SAP/SCI and collateral security environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute acquisition program security throughout the life cycle.
• Develop security policies for acquisition, physical, personnel, and documentation security.
• Prepare security sections of program documentation and review deliverables for compliance.
• Develop system security documents (PPP, SRA, OPSEC, RMF).
• Maintain databases on classified material receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition.
• Participate in audits and maintain visitor/clearance databases.
• Inspect, inventory, and protect classified information; support SCIF/SAPF procedures.
• Review personnel qualifications for special access program eligibility; deliver security training.
