Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Program Engineer - Systems Security at Eglin AFB. You'll safeguard the Air Force's most advanced systems, lock down classified tech, and shape cybersecurity defenses to keep mission-critical programs safe from threats.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to implement RMF, DoD acquisition processes, and supply chain risk management, while ensuring secure interconnections and robust encryption across weapon system platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 20 years of experience, or a Master's with 15 years, or PhD with 5 years.
• Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle and DoDI 5200.44, 8500.01E, 4140.01.

Responsibilities

• Identify CPI and determine AT requirements.
• Develop AT specifications and procedures to prevent exploitation.
• Support and maintain AT sections of the Program Protection Plan.
• Coordinate with SAF/IA and other teams for compliant testing and fielding.
• Apply IA engineering to air-to-air and air-to-surface weapon systems per DoDI 5200.44 and 8500.01E.
• Identify critical functions and implement risk management early in design.
• Develop IA specs and support audits and integration of secure components.
• Implement SCRM per DoDI 4140.01 and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Ensure secure interconnections with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS.
• Provide RMF-aligned engineering support for assessment and authorization.
