Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Acquisition Information Protection Manager (AIPM) to support USAF Weapons program on the EPASS79 contract at Eglin AFB, FL. You will lead security across acquisition life cycles and develop protective measures for multiple security domains.

Ideal candidate holds a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret, and has SPED SFPC certification or plan to maintain it.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Education/experience requirements as listed (Bachelor’s/Associate’s with years of relevant experience).
• SPeD SFPC certification required or to be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Execute acquisition program security throughout the program life cycle.
• Develop security practices for acquisition, physical, personnel, and information security.
• Prepare security sections of program documentation and review contractor deliverables for compliance.
• Develop system security documents (PSP, SRA, OPSEC, CONOPS, RMF docs).
• Maintain databases for classified materials and participate in government audits.

• Level 1 Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification within 14 months of hire; must be maintained throughout employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acquisition Program Security Support
  • Execute all aspects of acquisition program security throughout the program life cycle.
  • Develop sound security practices and policies for acquisition, physical, personnel, industrial, and documentation security.
  • Prepare acquisition security sections of program documentation and review contractor deliverables for compliance.
• Security Documentation & Systems Support
  • Develop system security documents including: Program Protection Plans, Security Risk Analyses, OPSEC Plans, Security CONOPS, vulnerability/countermeasure analyses, and RMF-related documentation.
• Program Security Management
  • Maintain and update databases tracking receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of classified material.
  • Participate in audits of government holdings to ensure accountability and compliance.
  • Maintain visitor and clearance/access databases.
• Classified Information Management
  • Conduct inspections, inventories, logging, storage, and distribution of classified information.
  • Provide security inspection and protection of classified storage areas and develop related procedures and policies.
  • Support opening/closing procedures for SCIFs, SAPFs, and other secure areas.
• Personnel Security & Training
  • Review and verify personnel qualifications for special access program eligibility.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs.
• Additional Duties
  • Support source selections with required security oversight.
  • Authorized to serve as CSSR, SAP PerSec Official, OPSEC Officer, or similar roles as defined in applicable security guidance.
  • Only AIPMs may record lock combinations; others are prohibited from doing so.
