Job summary

Air Force Legal Operations Agency at Wright-Patterson AFB seeks a senior acquisition legal advisor to the Commander, AFICC, and HQ AFICC staff. You will advise procurement officials on major programs with AF-wide impact and ensure timely, high-quality guidance.

Responsibilities include serving as acquisition attorney at Wright-Patterson AFB, advising on complex procurements, source selection, contract administration, and related commercial law.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a full course of study in a law school accredited by the ABA and hold the first professional law degree (JD).
• Active status with the bar of the highest court of a State/DC/territory, dated within four months of application.
• Professional legal experience in excess of three (3) years commensurate with the duties.
• A Master of Laws (LL.M.) will count for three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise AFICC/CC and HQ AFICC staff on complex, major acquisitions and related procurement activities.
• Provide expert guidance on government procurement law across the acquisition life-cycle and fiscal law.
