Job summary

ASI Government is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead acquisition content workstreams within its DoW portfolio. You will turn complex policies and templates into clear, actionable content for acquisition professionals, working with subject-matter experts, UX specialists, and technical teams.

You will plan, validate, and implement content across discovery, analysis, and design phases, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with client needs in a fast-paced federal environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of War or Department of the Navy, preferably within contracting, acquisition, or policy organization.
• 5+ years in roles requiring rapid absorption of complex processes and the development of clear, structured content.
• Experience independently leading a defined workstream or major project component with multiple stakeholders, source materials, reviews, and deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand complex or ambiguous processes and translate them into clear, structured, accurate, and usable content.
• Strong analytical skills: assess large sets of resources, identify gaps, distinguish authoritative content, and propose improvements.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for client-ready content across audiences and formats.
• Experience facilitating interviews, working sessions, focus groups, process validation, or user-testing.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain the clearance, credentials, and client-site access required for engagements.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work at client sites as required by the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead content workstreams from discovery through design, validation, testing, and implementation.
• Inventory, evaluate, and organize acquisition resources (policies, templates, checklists, job aids).
• Develop clear content supporting the acquisition lifecycle (maps, procedures, templates).
• Collaborate with AI-enabled tool teams to ensure content supports guided outputs and navigation.
• Plan and support demonstrations, usability sessions, and client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate contributions from ASI staff and client stakeholders with clear roles and milestones.
