QED Systems, LLC in Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors (PM TS) at Fort Belvoir. The position involves formulating acquisition strategies, developing ARPs, and reviewing contractual documentation.

The role requires at least 10 years of Acquisition Analyst experience, DoD acquisition knowledge, and an active SECRET clearance. This full‑time role offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the formulation of acquisition strategies and plans; develop, maintain and track Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) documents.
• Develop and review Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs) and other contractual documentation in support of the Program Offices’ contracts.
• Provide input, evaluations, recommendations, and preparation in draft format for comprehensive plans/documents and all acquisition streamlining reform initiatives.
• Assist the Government in developing, updating, and reviewing acquisition and logistic documents such as acquisition strategy plans, lifecycle sustainment plans, PWSs, disposal plans, and item unique identification plans.
• Identify and develop new acquisition logistics and sustainment requirements such as transportation, training, manpower, supply support, maintenance, storage, and software support for Program Objective Memorandums.
• Assist with the review of documentation including J&A; Service Acquisition Strategies; IMS; market research summary reports.
• Review Contractors’ schedules, CDRL deliverables, IMS, and contribute to program schedules.
• Serve as a technical advisor of Contractor proposals to source selection boards.

Duties:

• Support the formulation of acquisition strategies and plans; and the development, maintenance and tracking of Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) documents.
• Develop and review Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs) and other contractual documentation in support of the Program Offices’ contracts.
• Provide input, evaluations, recommendations, and preparation in draft format for comprehensive plans/documents and all acquisition streamlining reform initiatives.

• Assist with the review of, and provides recommendations related to, the Product Offices’ Contractors’ schedules, CDRL deliverables, IMS, and provide input and recommendations in the development, maintenance, and assessment of multiple concurrent program schedules.
• Serve as a technical advisor of Contractor proposals to source selection boards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of DoDi 5000 and Defense Acquisition.

Required Clearance:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in related field required and at least ten (10) years of experience as an Acquisition Analyst.
• An additional eight (8) years of experience in a related field may substitute degree requirement.
• A Master’s degree or higher, in a related field, may substitute three (3) years of experience.
• At least eight (8) years of Contract Specialist experience highly desired.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.
