Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support an upcoming federal defense program. In this key role you will provide support for the preparation and review of program baselines; developing purchase requests, documents required for solicitations and other contract documents. You will prepare supporting documentation such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Technical Data Packages, Production Plans, System Improvement Plans and Transition Plans, and identifying cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs during product development.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Executes acquisition management across an entire product line
  • Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases
  • Prepares, configures and staff all Milestone documentation
  • Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activites with Army Contracting Command
  • Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations
  • Participates in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations- Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products
  • Maintains and manages the program budget and master schedule
  • Identifies cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs
  • Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment
  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents
  • Works with contracting personnel to achieve desired contracted outcome
  • Prepares plans for product risk mitigation
  • Performs acquisition planning tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 or more years’ defense acquisition experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of acquisition categories, requirements and authorities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Process the Defense Acquisition System

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with ACAT III programs.
  • Understanding of the major capability acquisition process.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in easy and digestible terms.
