Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking a Senior Acoustics Consultant to lead acoustic design on major projects across the United States, including data centers, sports venues, healthcare and education facilities.

The role requires 8+ years in acoustics, strong reporting and client interaction skills, and the ability to mentor team members. This remote role supports projects nationwide with limited travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in acoustics design and measurements for the built environment.
• Experience in environmental and architectural acoustics, field measurement, and on-site construction observation.
• Ability to design and prepare acoustics reports, conduct drawings reviews, perform sound isolation calculations, and interact with clients and design teams daily.
• Ability to serve as Project Manager/Lead Acoustics Consultant on various projects and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as acoustics lead or Project Manager on a wide variety of acoustics and multidisciplinary projects.
• Assist, support and mentor other acoustics team members.
• Lead and support acoustics projects in Canada.
• Assist with business development opportunities in Canada and the United States.
