Job summary
SSR is seeking a Senior Acoustics Consultant to translate clinical and performance requirements into practical, code‑compliant acoustic solutions. You will work with clients, architects, engineers, and specialists to design, model, and specify acoustic treatments for healthcare, sports, and large venues.
The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 7+ years in architectural acoustics, healthcare or entertainment experience, and familiarity with tools such as EASE, Odeon, Revit, AutoCAD,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and relevant acoustics experience required.
- 7+ years of architectural acoustics consulting experience.
- Experience with healthcare and large venues preferred.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform architectural acoustic analyses for healthcare, sports, and large venues.
- Design acoustic treatments to support privacy, comfort, and audience experience.
- Develop acoustic models and predictive analyses with industry tools.
- Prepare design documentation, specs, and schedules.
- Coordinate with project teams and conduct site visits during construction.
- Assist in budgeting for audiovisual systems and related scopes.
