Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to join the Acoustics Systems Integration Team in PMS450 for the Virginia Class Submarine program. You will provide technical and programmatic support to PMS450 and NAVSEA, helping with design reviews, analyses, and coordination across stakeholders.

The role requires a secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields with 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, technical or music discipline; 5 years of experience.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills.
• Experience briefing senior leaders.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Maintain expert knowledge of ship specification sections and verification of program compliance.
• Review technical submittals and provide assessments with recommendations.
• Lead technical discussions for project reviews and briefings.
