Serco Inc., a leader in defense services, seeks an Acoustic Engineer to support the PMS450 Virginia Class Submarine program at the Washington Navy Yard. The role focuses on evaluating designs, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with NAVSEA and Team Submarine stakeholders to ensure technical and programmatic compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Secret clearance, a technical degree with 5 years’ related experience, and proven ability to brief senior leaders and deliver actionable

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics or related discipline with 5 years’ experience.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to brief senior leaders and influence actions.

Responsibilities

• Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Review technical submittals and provide assessments with recommended options.
• Liaise with NAVSEA teams and PMS450 stakeholders on technical issues.
• Lead program review sessions and prepare formal briefings.
• Act as primary customer contact for project status updates.
• Travel as required (up to 10%).
