Job summary

GoerTek Santa Clara is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to lead transducer design for consumer electronics. You will serve as the in-house expert, guiding the audio product development process and interfacing with customers and internal teams to improve design performance.

The role requires extensive experience in acoustic transducer design, strong communication skills, and ability to travel up to 20% to HQ or customer sites. Base pay ranges reflect wide experience and location.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in acoustics, audio engineering, physics, mechanical or electrical engineering.
5+ years or equivalent experience in speaker transducer design.
Deep understanding and rich experiences in acoustic transducer design and development.
Experience designing audio components for consumer electronics and mobile communications.

Responsibilities

Create and review product specifications and publish notes and reports.
Guide R&D and engineering teams to satisfy customer requirements and train personnel.
Conduct transducer design work, perform computer modeling, optimize performance, review results.
Assist in introducing new products using cutting-edge acoustic technology and support sales.
