Job summary

CIBC is seeking an ACH Operations professional to monitor daily ACH activity, resolve exceptions, and manage disputes. The role supports internal partners and external institutions, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 1+ on-site days per week and remaining days remote.

You’ll contribute to policy development, training materials, and audits, while providing timely updates to clients and stakeholders. A college degree and AAP certification are assets.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of banking and ACH processing experience.
• Strong understanding of payments operations and exception handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily ACH file activity and resolve exceptions to support accurate processing.
• Respond to client inquiries and research requests with professionalism.
• Support audit, compliance, and control-focused activities to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing policies, procedures, and training materials to improve efficiency.
• Participate in testing and implementation of new ACH products and services.
• Complete reporting and data analysis to support business decisions.
