UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced AR professional for a National Remote role. You will manage payer and patient communications, resolve denials, and work with EPIC and other billing systems to maximize reimbursement.

This full-time position requires 2+ years AR experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility for 8:00 am to 5:00 pm shifts. You will collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet metrics and support profitability.

Responsabilités

This position is National Remote. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week.

Follow up of outstanding A/R all payers and/or including self-pay and/or including resolution of denials. This position is responsible for handling all correspondence related to an insurance or patient account, contacting insurance carriers, patients and other facilities as needed to get maximum payment on accounts and identify issues or changes to achieve client profitability. Responsible for working edits and rejection reports. Ability to research and resolve accounts appearing on Aged AR Report as directed by management making appropriate decisions on accounts to be worked to maximize reimbursement.

This employee works with a specific department coordinating work with the Operations Manager, Team Lead and the team to achieve goals.

This position is full time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years' A/R work experience
• Healthcare and / or insurance billing, denial resolution and claims processing
• EPIC experience required

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $20 - $36 hourly based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
