Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Manager, Accounting Services to oversee end-to-end accounts payable for North America and to lead the AP team with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

The role requires a strong leader with deep AP knowledge, experience with OCR/IDP technologies, and collaboration across procurement, treasury, and FP&A to scale operations while maintaining stringent controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable accounting with strong understanding of AP processes, procurement and PO invoice processing, internal controls, and accruals/prepaids.
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership role managing finance/AP teams.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience with OCR and IDP technologies in AP environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process for US and Canada entities.
• Lead AP team; mentor and develop staff; set performance goals.
• Manage AP month-end close activities and reporting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Vendor Management, Treasury, and IT to optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; support audits.
