GTI Energy is seeking a Manager of Accounts Payable to lead the full AP function for the organization in the Chicagoland area. The role focuses on accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and strong internal controls over cash disbursements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounts payable cycle including invoice receipt, three-way matching, coding, approvals and payment disbursement.
• Review and approve payment batches and manage weekly/bi-weekly check, ACH, and wire payment runs.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, and train accounts payable staff.
• Enforce internal controls over cash disbursements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and early-payment discounts with vendors.
• Identify opportunities for AP process improvements and lead automation initiatives.
